SOLARPARK HERETSRIED II, RAMSTEIN

The worldwide largest on-roof solar power station including thin film modules.
Taken into operation as planned.
With a total performance of 2,5 MWp.
On the 90,000 m² roof area of the logistics centre “Gutperle” in Ramstein (former Pegulan), Rhineland-Palatinate,
more than 37,000 thin film modules of the manufacturer First Solar were installed.
Moreover, 115 tons of cables were obstructed on 24,000 m of aluminium racks together with 1100 tons of gravel.

Three inverters provide the transformation of direct current into alternating current.

Solar Energiedach GmbH PV took over the complete assembly and installation up to the string control boxes, by order of COLEXON.

The solar power station will produce approx. 2.4 million kilowatt hours of green energy per annum, with an estimated redemption of
1.1 million Euro.
At the same time, the produced current set of an estimated saving of CO2 emission of more than 2.000 tons per annum.
