Solar
Energiedach GmbH PV builds the largest solar plant on the roof of the new
Honda plant in Aalst, Belgium.
The
installation of the photovoltaic plant on the assembly plant of the automobile
manufacturer Honda near Bruxelles is completed. Just in time for the inauguration
on April 17th, 2008, 888 kW of green energy were connected to the net of Electrabel,
the main energy supplier, who will run the plant throughout the next 20 years.
At present, this is the biggest photovoltaic plant in Belgium. The start for
the installation of this plant was February 19th, 2008. Herewith Honda sets
a clear sign for its climate neutral production of vehicles and is after Volvo
Trucks in Gent the second automobile manufacturer in Belgium who forces climate
protection by the use of renewable energies.

The
quality of the roofs is decisive for us, because the decision for a photovoltaic
plan on a roof is an investment fort he future of 20 at least years.
The quality of
the plant in connection with the cover of the roof, respectively the roof
insulation as well as the rack technology, is attributed with highest priority.
The quality standard
of our product and performance spectrum „roof guarantee and power generation
is a decisive measure for the precision of the planning and the operation
of the PV-plant.
